Today I ran the same long run I did last week only added a mile, for a total of 12 miles. If I rrun in the race like I idid today I will finish in a time just over 2 hours. I am pretty sure though I can shave a couple minutes off as I held back a little today. My biggest problem are my slow lazy starts. I just want to loaf for my first few miles. My fastest miles are after I have run about 5. Maybe if I can just loaf for say, 2 miles instead.
